Visit the 29 acres of passive and active recreational opportunities, 1 mile west of Northgate Mall in the heart of Colerain Township. Colerain Park has something for everyone. Please check out what we have to offer! We hope you enjoy your visit to this beautiful park!
Stay in shapeyear round using our walking path winding through Colerain Park. The outer loop, which takes you around the football field track, is 1 mile long. If you skip the football field track, you still have 3/4 mile of trail to enjoy!
Even if you don’t want to walk the path, please enjoy our path’s boardwalk area. This scenic,well shaded portion of the path is in a wetland area and is home to many wildlife species. Have a seat at one of the picnic benches along the boardwalk and enjoy your surroundings!
As you walk along the trail, enjoy the environmentally friendly and beautiful wildflowers that stretch along the borders of our path. Thereare also a bevy of new tree species that will provide shade on hot summer days.
In addition to the four shelters available for picnics, Colerain Park has several picnic tables in open areas throughout the park available on a first come, first served basis. Most of the tables are in quiet, secluded areas next to or under large shade trees and have charcoal grills available.
Pets are welcome at Colerain Park. What better place to exercise them than on the walking trail? But please remember that all pets in Colerain Park must be kept on a leash,maximum six feet in length, at all times. Pets are to be kept under physical control and not be a nuisance or danger to other park users.
No pets are allowed on the ball fields or in the dugouts. Also, be considerate of other park goers. Please use our Mutt-Mitts conveniently placed throughout the park to remove their waste.
