A mortgagee must also register the property if it becomes vacant at any point during the foreclosure process. A property that is foreclosed and is not vacant need not be registered. The property must be registered within ten days of becoming vacant and foreclosed.
If a property is foreclosed and vacant the mortgagee must complete the Vacant Foreclosed Property Registration Form and pay the registration fee of $500.
